Endorsement Information for Massachusetts Auto Owners
Massachusetts drivers have several valuable options they can add to their Connections Auto policy:
DriveSmart - this optional endorsement includes features such as:
- Second Chance Accident Forgiveness - your first surchargeable accident in any 36 month period will be forgiven. That means no surcharge points on your policy for that accident and no increase in premium as a result of that accident.
- Ultimate Towing & Labor - your towing costs will be reimbursed when you call a towing company to have your disabled vehicle towed to the nearest auto repair shop, regardless of the towing limits shown on your policy. Also, towing and labor costs are covered should your keys get lost, broken or locked in your car.
- Ultimate Rental - if you have a covered loss, allow us to make the rental arrangements for you, and have your vehicle repaired at a Hanover approved repair shop Ultimate Rental will apply the daily rental coverage limits you’ve chosen to a rental vehicle for as long as it takes to repair or replace your vehicle (up to $3,000).
- Educators’ Benefit - reduces the deductible to $25 for a covered loss which results from malicious mischief or vandalism on school property
- Pet Injury Coverage - Pays for veterinary fees up to $500 when a dog or cat is injured in a collision; and up to $500 for burial or disposal expenses if the dog or cat dies in an accident.

- New Car Replacement Guard - when you lease or purchase a new vehicle, if that vehicle is declared a total loss within one year of purchase or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first, we will pay the cost to replace your vehicle with a new vehicle of the same make, model, and equipment—without any deduction for depreciation.
- Deductible Dividends - automatically reduces your collision deductible by $100 the moment DSA is added to your policy, and will continue to reduce the deductible $100 at each annual renewal, up to $500, for each year you do not have a surchargeable accident.

Additional Customized Equipment - this endorsement covers the loss to custom furnishings or custom equipment, and permanently installed electronic equipment such as: stereos, navigation systems, and personal computers, etc.; antennas, accessories and enhancements.
Loan Lease GAP coverage - when you select this coverage, it pays the difference between the actual cash value of your vehicle at the time of loss and any unpaid amount due on the loan or lease.
