Waterfront safety monitoring for marinas

Electrical hazards in and around marinas can create serious safety concerns for operators, employees and boaters. Identifying potential issues early can not only help reduce risk, but can support safer operations and provide greater confidence that electrical systems are working as intended.

As part of the Hanover i-on Sensors for Water Hazard Protection Program, Hanover Risk Solutions has partnered with SafeWater360, a provider of continuous in-water electrical monitoring solutions designed specifically for marinas.

Valuable services for Hanover policyholders

SafeWater360 helps marina operators monitor electrical conditions around docks and shore power systems. Its technology continuously measures in-water conditions and provides real-time alerts when potentially hazardous electrical activity is detected, helping operators identify and address concerns earlier.

When combined with the SafeWater360 Power Terminator, the system can automatically disconnect shore power when hazardous electrical conditions are identified, adding another layer of protection for marina operators, boaters and their facilities.

Services and solutions include:

  • Continuous monitoring for potentially hazardous AC and DC electrical conditions
  • Real-time alerts when electrical issues require attention
  • Tools to help locate potential sources of electrical leakage
  • Automated shore power shutoff capabilities when used with the SafeWater360 Power Terminator
  • Reporting and monitoring support to assist with ongoing marina safety efforts

Hanover policyholders receive a 10% discount on SafeWater360 hardware for accounts with 50 or more devices.
