Executive Vice President, President, Hanover Agency Markets
Dick joined The Hanover in 2004 and has held a number of marketing and leadership roles in the home office, as well as in the field over the last 16 years. He is currently president, Hanover Agency Markets and chief marketing officer overseeing a $3.4 billion portfolio. Previously, he led the company’s innovation initiative as chief growth innovation officer, and was president of personal lines. He also served as regional president for The Hanover’s Northeast Region, and as vice president of field operations and marketing.
Prior to joining The Hanover, Dick was vice president of strategic initiatives for The Hartford’s property and casualty organization and vice president, strategic marketing for The Hartford’s Select Customer division. Prior to that, Dick worked at two software companies, ChannelPoint and Bowstreet, and was a strategy consultant for CSC Healthcare. He began his career at The Travelers Insurance Company.
Dick is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The College of the Holy Cross and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
