BlueArrow’s Associate Pledge telematics program is designed to limit unsafe use of mobile devices through a smartphone app to help prevent crashes and manage drivers.
BlueArrow’s app mitigates the use of handsets while in motion, monitors GPS location and phone usage, while providing real-time notification of activity that violates mobile device usage policies. The data creates a dashboard of daily driver performance results associated with risky event triggers, including:
- Rapid acceleration and deceleration
- Hard left and right turns
- Speeding
- Cell phone usage while the vehicle is in motion
