Reassurance Plus

You can take a great deal of comfort in knowing that your Hanover Connections® Auto policy provides you with a broad range of valuable protection.

Not to mention a whole contingent of “smart savings” that help to keep your costs down at a time when virtually every other product and service in our world seems to be skyrocketing.

Nevertheless, your basic policy, as comprehensive as it is, can’t cover everything. Which is why we urge you to consider the added protection, security, and peace of mind you’ll get with The Hanover’s Reassurance Plus, an optional endorsement that can easily and affordably be added to your Connections Auto policy. Consider what you get:

Accidental airbag deployment

Not all automobile “accidents” happen on the road. For example, what if you were installing a car stereo system and the airbag accidentally deployed? You’d be out a pretty penny if you had to assume the cost of reinstalling it. But with Reassurance Plus, if your factory-installed airbag deploys in an event not related to a collision or comprehensive loss, the cost of reinstalling your airbag is fully covered. Even better, this exceptional coverage has no deductible.

Accidental death benefit

Nobody wants to think about the possibility of being involved in a fatal automobile accident. But with more than 30,000 highway deaths per year,* that possibility is an unfortunate reality. With The Hanover’s Reassurance Plus, if your covered vehicle is involved in a fatal crash, we will pay $10,000 for each Insured and/or family member whose death results from the accident, provided the Insured and/or family member was wearing a seat belt. Reassurance that funeral expenses won’t be an additional burden at a difficult time.

* There were 32,885 motor vehicle fatalities in 2010. Source: U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Traffic Safety Facts, annual; and unpublished data.
